Hello.

With Boards and Babes, I wanted to create a fashion based blog and community for girls who shred to share style tips, favorite outerwear, hard goods advice, riding stories, and any other wild adventures we might encounter.. 

I am from Newport Beach, CA, basically the epicenter of the action sports industry. I grew up working at a bathing suit store, moved to Tahoe city and did 3 years at Squaw (also a season at Thredbo in Oz in that time frame), came back to Newport, worked at Oakley, then Surfside (the frickin best store ever), then ended up at my favorite company on Earth, Volcom. Currently, I am the women's and youth outerwear developer where I work with the raddest crew of all time. Although, I feel that action sports land is still a male dominated world, I am surrounded by a lot of badass chicks who are all smart, fun, and amazing at what they do and it is super inspirational to get to be a part of this team and this company.
