Cali4nia Pass!

It finally happened! Bear Mountain & Snow Summit + Mammoth & June!!!! I've heard talk about this for a while and although I definitely hesitate about some mountain purchases, I think this could turn out quite well. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of Squaw getting purchased a few years ago, I was happy to see them team up with Alpine Meadows, Whistler, and a few other resorts and it's always a benefit to get more mountains on one pass. I think the collaboration of these resorts will lead to a more powerful union of Southern California snowboarding and will hopefully aid in resistance to the Vail superpower (nothing against Vail Resorts, I just think it's nice to see some independence). Teaming up has worked for Colorado, Tahoe, and now finally Southern California and I think it will be interesting to see how Bear and Mammoth influence each other...and probably create the most epic parks of all time.
